Now that I've gotten you all sucked in with that wonderful title, I have a question for you: What is your opinion of these slippers? (Sorry I can't put an actual picture on here. Just go to the link.)
I can't quite decide whether I like them or not. I really want to make them, but don't know if I would actually wear them. What do you think?

They look kind of multi-purpose. They could be slippers OR pot holders
I took one look and was confused as to whether they were pot holders or a piece of a really ugly afghan. Then I saw the pic of them on someone's feet and couldn't stop laughing. Say no to potholder afghan slippers.
I thought they looked like something a grandma would make for a county fair or bazaar in the 70's. I think it would be fun to make the patter but think you should stick to a quilt not slippers. They look weird!

I agree with your mom and Diana... kinda strange looking. I think they would be cool to make but I would never wear them. On the plus side, you just range my doorbell to watch Enchanted!!! ;)
And by range, I meant rang... and it wasn't actually you. But you WILL be here any minute! YAY!!!
